About Lea

Lea Placek

Lea entered the Interior Design field in 2006 when she was presented with an opportunity to work at a high-end custom furniture retailer. She spent 7 years there, learning everything there is to know about the custom furnishing and decor industry including residential room design, as well as winning numerous sales awards during her career there.

In 2013 Lea took a leap of faith established her own design firm,  Lea Placek Interiors. Lea has continued to evolve and expand her design services, and in early 2019 she added custom kitchen and bath design to her offering of services, along with a line of fully custom cabinetry, plus semi-custom lines, fully customizable window coverings, and top of line countertop options. Lea also has teamed up with the very best contractors, builders, carpenters, installers, and trades people she utilizes for every project. 

Lea’s designs are based on timeless and classic design elements while still incorporating fresh trends and updated color schemes into the spaces she designs. She is an expert in color and undertones, making her skill set invaluable when selecting construction materials, finishes, and fabrics for the home.

Lea truly believes the power of a beautiful & functional home can transform your daily life. A home should be functional and livable, but can also be polished and pulled together. She prides herself on her attention to detail, her love for working closely with people, and forming lasting relationships with her clients.
